The AFNOR Norm
The AFNOR Norm certifies the compliance with standard NF X50-730 and the regulations of the NF 237 certificate.
The AFNOR Norm guarantees easy access to the tourist office, treating customer requests (in the office, by telephone and mail), adapted premises, information made readily available for consultation, competent trained staff who are always on hand, the supervision of customer satisfaction, all of which are regularly monitored by AFNOR Certification
In 2005, the Tourist Office received the ‘NF Service’ certification “Accueil et Information des Offices de Tourisme et Syndicats d’Initiative” awarded by AFNOR Certification to Tourist Offices. The certification was renewed in March 2009 following a control audit.
This accreditation is the formal recognition of the quality of service rendered in terms of welcoming customers and information:
• The office is open to visitors and its telephone enquiry service is available 7 days a week, all year round.
• It provides free local and departmental tourist information
• It provides regional and national documentation, upon request
• There is a daily posting of the weather forecast
• There is a continuous update of events and activities
• It ensures a personalized search for the required documentation
• Emergency numbers are on display
• Monitoring of customer satisfaction (surveys, suggestions, claims).
